‘Jamtara 2’ actor Sachin Chandwade dies by suicide in Maharashtra

Sachin Chandwade, a 25-year-old Marathi actor best known for his role in Netflix’s ‘Jamtara 2’, has died by suicide at his home in Parola, Jalgaon district, police said.
Chandwade was found hanging by his family on 23 October and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed during treatment around 1.30am the following day, officials confirmed.
Alongside acting, Chandwade worked as a software engineer in Pune, managing his IT career alongside his passion for cinema. He was due to appear in an upcoming Marathi film titled ‘Asurvan’, and had shared its poster on social media just days before his death.
The cause of the suicide remains unclear. Local police have registered an accidental death case and launched an investigation.
